It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ofelia was predeceased by her husband Tino and her son Carlo. Ofelia came to Canada from Venice Italy in 1954 with her husband and son.
She is survived by her grandchildren Shelley (Brian), Lucas, Logan, Lisa (Ryan), Emily, Braeden, Michelle (Derek), Mason, Bennett and daughter-in-law Linda. Ofelia’s family was her greatest joy.
We will always remember her and miss her gnocchi dinners. We love you and miss you. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Golden Links Lodge for taking such good care of Ofelia.

Our earlier years in Canada many a Christmas celebrations were shared among few Italian families. We gathered in our basement sharing great food and laughter, Lela and her family was among these families. Lela procured my summer job at Victoria leather and most importantly we celebrated Carlo and Linda's wedding day. My sincere condolences to all of you for the loss of Lela.
