Condolences & Memories (19 entries)

  • My deepest condolences to Joe and his family on the passing of his Wife and their Mother,Judy. I would like to share a quote with the family. Judy has not died, but gone away to a better place, free of pain and suffering. We will see her again some day. Rest in Peace Judy. You are loved and will be missed. - Posted by: Patricia Homenick (Customer of Nemeth Diamonds) on: Mar 04, 2026

  • We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Joe and the entire family. Judy was so kind and welcoming when mom bought the cabin next door, and it was neat that your paths would cross so many years after meeting at HSC. Our kids were very small at the time, and spent their summers growing up beside the always cheerful Nemeth family. We were all very saddened to hear of Judy's passing and will remember how happy she was watching her own family enjoy their time at the lake. Sending our thoughts and sympathies, Frank, Karen, Pippa, Hudson, Penny. - Posted by: Frank Baldwin and family (Friend and lake neighbour) on: Mar 03, 2026

  • Joe - My deepest sympathies to you and the family. As I sadly read of Judy's passing, so many memories of my time with Judy flooded back - her smile, her sense of humor, her positive attitude no matter what was going on around her. She just seemed to know instinctively how to brighten her patients' days and what help she could offer other staff. We all knew how happy she was when Joe entered her life and how she glowed as she told stories about her kids. She truly made a difference to so many and it was a pleasure to have had the time with her I did. Your memories will always keep her in your hearts and all of us that knew this special person feel blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. • I was so sorry to learn of Judy’s passing. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with both Judy and Joe in the physio department of HSC at the beginning of my career. Judy had a special gift. Her ability to provide comfort, along with a dose of humour while working with people who often had a long and difficult road to recovery ahead of them helped many. My hope is that precious memories will help your family and friends through the days ahead. You will be in my thoughts. Heather - Posted by: Heather Morton (Coworker from HSC days) on: Mar 01, 2026

  • My deepest sympathy for your loss. I called myself friend because that’s the way Judy always treated me. I only wish circumstances in life would have been such that we could have gotten to know each other better. I still treasure the lovely Swarovski heart she gave me many years ago. We would run into each other while shopping and talk far too long catching up on our children’s lives. I do know how much family meant to her. She will be remembered and prayed for at Mass. Love to you all, Bev - Posted by: Bev Martens (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2026
