It is with heavy hearts the family of Michael Misurak announce his passing at HSC after a brief illness, on February 21, 2026 at the age of 78.
Leaving to mourn his passing is his wife Linda, and sons Brad, Chris (Patricia Lui), and Mark. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pearl, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mike grew up on Jefferson Avenue and attended Victory School, Garden City Junior High, and Garden City Collegiate. He began his career with Olivetti-Underwood as a typewriter technician. From there he went on to become a Manitoba Government employee as an office equipment technician, retiring in 2005 from MDA – Home Care Equipment.
The family would like to thank HSC for their care and compassion during Mike's illness.
Cremation has taken place, and in compliance with Mike's wishes, no funeral will be held.
