DANNA DOEPKER

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom, Danna Doepker (née Swan), at the age of 79, on March 15, 2026.

A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a beloved friend to all who knew her,

Danna's greatest passion was her family. She gave of herself endlessly, offering unconditional love and selflessness that will never be forgotten. Full of life, and a smile that wrapped around you like a warm hug, she touched the hearts of everyone around her and will always be remembered.

Her grandchildren were the love of her life. From the very beginning and throughout her days, she treasured every moment spent with them.

Danna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Rick; her children, Darren (Dominique); Lori (Stéphane); Debbie; Susan (Glenn); her grandchildren, Tyler (Kaytlin), Mackenzie, Lauren, Nathan, Corynn, Jordan and L'été. She will also be deeply missed by her best friend Aaltje and her husband Ted, along with many treasured friends.

Mom is now reunited with her two sisters, Sharon and Merrill, whom she missed dearly.

We will carry your spirit with us always. Until we meet again.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Danna at Planet Fitness about 3 years ago. She literally was the best part of my mornings. We chatted like we knew each other for years. I was sad to hear of her illnesses recently, I really was not expecting to see her obituary so soon. She worked out at the gym to the very last day she could! I'm envious. I will miss her smiling face, her words of wisdom, her sassy little attitude to macth her sassy little self and most of all her hugs. Thank you, Danna for being my gym friend. (Your husband might remember me by the halloween treats I sent home this past October...that's if she shared, like she said she did lol). Sending my condolences to all of her family.
