ROGENE CRAVEN
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rogene Craven on April 10, 2026, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, at the age of 80.
Left to mourn are her sister Pat (Dennis) Desautels; brothers, Lyle (Fumie) Craven; and Bob (Helen) Craven; nieces and nephews, Kyle, Angela (Amit), Danielle, Brian (Jill), Paul, and Lauren; and grandnieces and grandnephew, Amelie, Arah, and Jack.
She was predeceased by her parents, Beatrice and Duerward Craven, and her twin sister, Karen Craven.
Rogene's biggest love was baseball, and she was an avid New York Yankees fan for 70 years. She always wore a Yankees baseball cap, sometimes more than one at a time, which brought a smile to everyone she met. She also enjoyed bowling and spent time volunteering.
Rogene loved family dinners and treasured time with her nieces and nephews, especially the hugs they gave her. Kind and generous, she was always happy to see friends and family. She will be missed but not forgotten.
A special thank you to the staff at Vista Park Extendicare for their care, compassion, and assistance during her stay.
At her request, cremation has taken place and a family service was held.
