FLAVIA GILES
Flavia Giles (nee Burgoyne) passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at her home in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
She is survived by her husband Dale Giles and her son John Giles, both of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her sister Josie Walkden (Wayne Copeland), her brother Peter Burgoyne (Karen) all of Winnipeg and her brother Paul Burgoyne of Roseisle, Manitoba. She is also survived by Dale’s brother Brian Giles and Dale’s sister Lois Smith.
She also leaves to mourn her passing her nieces and nephews Christa Walkden, Ricki Walkden, Angela (Edgar) Rosales, Linda (Jon) Woolley, Jonathon (Dana) Burgoyne all of Winnipeg; and Matthew (Ashley) Burgoyne of Calgary. She is also survived by her grandniece and nephews.
The funeral will take place at 1:00 p.m. May 1, 2026, at St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church 836 Arlington Street Winnipeg, MB.
Special thanks to Verna from St. Edwards parish for all the support she gave to Flavia.
Flavia’s loving presence and thoughtfulness will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Flavia’s memory may be made to the Manitoba branch of the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
