It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, Verna Lewandoski, on Sunday, April 19, 2026. She went to join her husband Leonard in the mansion in the sky. She was surrounded by family in her final hours. She left us brokenhearted, but also knowing how much she was loved.
She will be remembered by her children, Ron (Leah), Linda (Frank), Robert (Connie), and Joyce (Zane); as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel in Transcona (1800 Day Street). She will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at Transcona Cemetery.
