LEONIDA ZALEWSKI

Leonida Zalewski, passed away at the age of 100, at Victoria General Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, and survived by her daughter, Basia Bazinet (Roland), and her grandson, Tobiasz Osicki.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Timothy’s Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road, on May 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Brian Trueman presiding. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and her ashes will rest beside her beloved husband, at Holy Ghost Parish cemetery. Private interment will follow at a later date.

Special thanks to the compassionate and caring team of health care workers, nurses and physicians, at the Victoria General Hospital Urgent Care.
