ANNE CHUBATY
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Anne died peacefully at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, surrounded by family. She was 97 years old.
Anne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Chris Chubaty-Ring, Ron Chubaty, and Randy Chubaty (Starla); her grandchildren, Christy Ring (Dave Snell), Caitlin Ring (Lindsey Panteluk), Alex Chubaty, Amanda Chubaty, and Alyssa Laszlo (Craig Sgambellone). She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters, Mary Kyrzyk and Olga Harasymchuk; brother, John Oryschak (Elizabeth); and brother-in-law, Eugene Kyrzyk. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Matt, in 1999; her daughter, Cathy Laszlo, in 2017; and sons-in-law, Ken Laszlo, in 2021, and Chuck Ring, in 2022.
The funeral service for Anne will be held at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 35 Marcie Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 12:30 noon, with Fr. Yaroslav Buduykevych officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory can be made to St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church.
