Peacefully, on May 26, 2026, at Neepawa Hospital, Leona Kucher passed away at the age of 88 with family by her side.
Born October 28, 1937, in Dauphin, Manitoba, Leona was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and active member of the United Church community. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Deb (Vic) Hlushak, Sandra Gunn (Randy Carson), Rick (Sharon) Kucher, and Suzi (Tom) Hare; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister Elaine Gibson; and many extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Roy Kucher, in 2014; and grandson Craig Kucher in 2012.
Donations in Leona’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the MS Society.
