IN LOVING MEMORY
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyne Petric (née Reif) on June 14, 2026, at the age of 88.
Evelyne was born on July 6, 1937 in Berlin. In 1956, she immigrated to Canada, where she began a new chapter in her life. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Romano Petric, and together they raised their family.
Evelyne's greatest joy was bringing family together. She treasured family gatherings, celebrations, and simple moments spent with those she loved most.
She is lovingly survived by her husband of 68 years, Romano Petric; her children, Dorina Melia (Grant), Danny (Cindy), and Trish Tymchyshyn; her seven cherished grandchildren; her five beloved great-grandchildren; her brother, Herb; her nephew, Richard; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Klassen Funeral Home at 11:30 am, with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

Sending our deepest condolences to the Petric Family. Doreena and Grant were our neighbours when their children were little and so we got to know Evelyn. She sold Avon and we would enjoy her monthly visits. In later years we realized that their grandsons were schoolmates and hockey buddies with our grandsons. What a small world! Our deepest sympathies. She will be missed. - Posted by: Norma & Keith Roulston (Family friends) on: Jun 17, 2026
