Bob was born on May 18, 1940, in Hafford, Saskatchewan, the middle son of three boys. At a young age, his family moved to Vernon, BC. As a young adult, he worked at the glass plant in Lavington, BC. In 1970, he married Jutta Klingenberg and they started their family, welcoming the births of Nadine and Richard. The family of four moved to Brandon in 1975, where Bob was a partner with Western Diesel Fuel Injection. In retirement, Bob and Jutta enjoyed many years of travelling in the southern U.S. Bob passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, with his family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Jutta and his children Nadine (Todd) Richardson and Richard and by his grandchildren Josh, Evan and Summer. He is also survived by his brothers Ernie (Ruth) and Morris. At Bob’s request, no formal service will be held. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 1K2.
