On June 15, 2026 Geoffrey went to be with the Lord, after a brief hospital stay, he died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 91.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 69 years (Hilda); and his children, Steve (Pauline), Andrew and Diane (Kevin); his grandchildren, Matthew (Jackie), Leanne, Nicole (Clarke) and Garrett; and his great-grandchildren, Aidan, Carter, Landon and Lainey.
The service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd, Winnipeg.

I met Geoff some years ago when my wife and I moved into Southglen Mobile Village. We had many spirited discussions ranging from science, to religion and everything in between. I found his history very interesting, especially enduriing the bombings of London during WW2, his medical struggles that he overcame, how he met and married the love of his life, Hilda, and how he emigrated to Canada. His career in engine manufacturing gave him a deep understanding of auto mechanics, He was also a very gifted artist and wood carver. I shall miss his friendship.
