JACK WARKENTIN
Jack Warkentin embraced life with curiosity, humour, kindness, and an unwavering love of people. He passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 83 at Brandon Regional Health Centre.
Jack will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Gloria Jean, his family, dear friends, former students, and colleagues.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Jack's memory may make a donation to Diabetes Canada, 1000-170 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5H 3B3 www.diabetes.ca, Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon MB R7A 2B3 www.brhcfoundation.ca, or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for Wednesday, July 15, 2026. A full obituary and further details will be shared in the coming days.
