The family of Alain Marcoux is deeply saddened to announce his passing on June 28, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his brothers, Laurent (Lise), Michael (Cheryl), Guy, and sister Jocelyne (Serge), and his many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, Laurent and Jacqueline Marcoux.
Handyman by trade, Alain built and painted many a fence and he loved to talk about the carpentry and renovation jobs he was working on. He was especially happy spending time with family, who were always so important to him.
Your pain has ended Al. Rest in peace.
We wish to thank the Health Sciences Centre surgical and critical care teams for their compassionate care for our brother.

J'étais attristée d'entendre le décès de Al ou Magoo comme on l'appelait à l'école. So many great memories with Al and friends from Folk Festival, numerous parties and going to his cottage at Falcon Lake. He will be missed at our 50th graduation party.
