With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Alvin Beardy, who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 56. Alvin was also known as "Labatts" by his family and friends.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his children, Patricia Murdock, Alvin Murdock (Gina), Allen Murdock, Priscilla Harper (Russell), Albert Murdock, Amanda Murdock (Dakota), and Jenna Murdock; and his 16 beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Harriet and Sharon Beardy; brothers, Lester, Edward, Allan (Rachel), Clifford (Melvina), and Leslie Beardy (Pearl); uncle, George Beardy; and his ex-wife and mother of his children, Charlene Murdock. He will be deeply missed by many of his extended family members and countless friends.
Funeral Service, Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 7:00 pm, Deliverance Centre, 1831 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Wake Service, Monday, July 6, 2026 at 7:00 pm, Lake St. Martin School, followed by interment on July 7, 2026 at 11:00 am.
All are welcome to attend as we gather to celebrate Alvin's life, honor his memory, and say our final goodbyes.
