• Dear Terry,Trevor, Blair & Kristin, Aiden & Decklin Please know that we are both thinking of all of you since the loss of our wonderful friend Sandy. Our friendship has remained for the last 50 years and we are thankful for all the special and fun times and occasions we all shared. We were able to enjoy our last summer lakeride to Wpg Beach for lunch and a cocktail with lots of laughs just before she was admitted to the hospital. She was always soft spoken but had the toughest spirit of anyone we have ever known. Always remembered with love. • Sandra, you where one of a kind... quiet,compassionate. Family was number 1 to you.. While at work, we have so many great memories... your sense of humor was surprising. • To Terry, Trevor, Blair, and the rest of the family that Sandra loved and spoke about so dearly, please accept my heartfelt condolences. I don't even know where to begin. I had the privilege of knowing Sandra for almost 40 years, and I will always think of her as my partner in crime. She was such a wonderful, joyful soul who had an incredible gift for making every day brighter. Going to work was never just work when Sandra was there—she made it fun, interesting, and filled with laughter. We shared so many special moments together, from shopping trips and rides home in the car to girls' lunches and of course of Grand Forks Shopping Weekend. There are countless everyday conversations that became cherished memories. Even after we both left CMHC and didn't see each other as often, Sandra was always asking us when we were getting together and whenever we got together it felt as though no time had passed. We would pick up right where we left off, reminiscing about old times while creating new memories. Our girls' outings were always filled with laughter, and Sandra's youthful spirit, kindness, and caring heart made every moment unforgettable. Sandra loved deeply and cared so much for the people in her life. I feel her loss every day, but I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to know and love her for what feels like a lifetime. Terry, I know how deeply she loved you, Trevor, Blair, and your entire family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and whenever she spoke about all of you, her words were filled with immense love and pride. Even through her battle with cancer, Sandra showed us all what courage, strength, and a true love of life looked like. She fought with everything she had. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Sandra was the kind of person you simply could never forget. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and a truly thoughtful and loyal friend. I miss her dearly, and I will always be grateful that I had the chance to see her one last time and tell her how much I loved her. May her beautiful soul rest in peace. She will be forever missed, and I will carry the precious memories we shared together in my heart always.
