Helen Maria Isherwood passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 99 years in her home in Transcona.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Mark (Marianne) and David, her daughter Jamie, many nieces and nephews, most notably Paul, Elsie, Julie, Janice and Joyce.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Fred; six brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Anthony, Frank, Michael and William; and one sister, Tina.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street, Transcona. Graveside services, presided by Pastor Harold Borchardt, to follow on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd., Winnipeg. The procession will leave from Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street at 9:40 a.m. Following the service, lunch will be provided at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 401 Kildare Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Associaiton For Community Living - Manitoba Inc.
