With heavy hearts and a lifetime of wonderful memories, we announce the passing of Carl David Gibb at the age of eighty on July 17, 2026, in Wawanesa, Manitoba.
Carl was deeply loved by his wife and best friend, Luanne Gibb (Criddle). Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. He leaves behind his children Jessi Gibb, Amber Litton (Miles Steele), Chelsea Long (Ryan Laing), Robyn Gibb, and Morgan Gibb (Trent Roblin). He said goodbye to his grandchildren Jordynn, Carter, Dawson, Dallas, Ava, Hunter, and Cali Jo, all of whom he was very proud of. Carl is survived by his brothers John (Judy) Gibb and Murray (Colleen) Gibb, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends who were family to him.
Carl requested a Celebration of Life which will be held Saturday August 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the Wawanesa Centennial Hall to share stories, laughter, and memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Manitoba, Unit i - 3525 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3R 0C6.
