After a brief and valiant battle with mesothelioma (lung cancer), David passed away at Riverview Health Centre on July 9, 2026 at the age of 78. His wife of 42 years Michelle (Mitch) Gautron is heartbroken.
In keeping with Dave’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. A photo biography, honouring Dave, will be accessible at a later date through the tributes link below.
