DOREEN MARION BOTTLEY

Doreen Marion (McMillan/Muir) Bottley, passed away at Fairview Personal Care Home, on February 25, 2026.

Doreen was born in rural Dauphin, MB, to Hugh Samuel and Evelyn McMillan on March 28, 1933. Receiving her education at Durston School and later Dauphin Collegiate. Doreen worked with Manitoba Agriculture in Dauphin until 1977 at which time she transferred to Manitoba Agriculture, Brandon until her retirement in 1988.

Doreen married Lorne Muir in Winnipeg in 1951 and had three sons: James, John and Larry. In 1977 she married Douglas Bottley in Brandon and enjoyed 45 years of marriage together.

Doreen is predeceased by her husband Douglas (2023); her parents; first husband; brothers, James and Roy; sister Lori and her son James. She is missed and lovingly remembered by sons, John Muir, Larry Muir and Rick Kilmury (Debbie); grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service has taken place. Thank you to Memories Chapel for their assistance.
