Emily Borowski, late of Brandon, went on her journey to meet her beloved husband Frank on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the age of 91 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank; sister Anne Jankiewicz; and brother Michael Zelonkia. She is survived by her immediate family, nieces, Diane Thom, Brenda Koch, and Monica Kjonaas; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as sister-in-law Josephine Bourdeau-D’Hui and long-time tenants and neighbours, Ron and Donna Sanders.
Emily’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Brandon Hospital Emergency Room and ICU for their care, kindness and compassion.
A graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Donations in Emily’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation - Westman Cancer Centre.
