JEAN ELIZABETH MYERS Peacefully, at West Mark Manor on September 11, 1999, Jean Myers passed away at 94 years of age. Jean was predeceased by her husband Alex (1957), son Don (1979), daughter Grace Avery (1989) and great-granddaughter Jenna. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Carole (Ron) Ledingham; grandchildren, Jeff and Jodi; son-in-law Bill Avery; grandchildren, Grant (Lynn) and Neil (Josie) Avery; grandchildren, Ginalyn MacDonald, Melanie Denyer, Tom and Bob Myers and also six great-grandchildren. Also surviving, her sister Margaret Cassells and several nieces and nephews. Jean was born in Winnipeg on January 3, 1905. She was a longtime employee at Eatons and was a wonderful cook and gardener. Cremation has taken place as per Moms wishes. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 15 in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. M.B. Flom officiating. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at West Park Manor who cared for Mom for over 12 years.
