Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANETTE MARIE ENCONTRE Peacefully, at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Tuesday, September 14, 1999 Jeanette Encontre of St. Lupicin, Manitoba passed away at the age of 60 years and 10 months. She leaves to mourn her passing five brothers, Cyprien and wife Mary, Marcel, Francois and wife Gertrude, Martial, Joseph; three sisters, Augustine, Bertha Baron and Blandine and husband Carlo DAngiolo; two brothers-in-law, Medard Rossier and Gianni Favaro; special nieces and nephews, Roxanne, Natalie, Renee, Gianni and Taylor, and numerous other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Azarie in 1956; her mother Marie in 1991; by her sisters and brothers, Lea in 1925, Anna in 1935, Barthelemy in 1952; Genevieve in 1985, Jean-Baptiste in 1997 and Gertrude in 1998. Jeanette was born October 30, 1938 and lived all her life in the St. Lupicin and Notre Dame de Lourdes district. She attended Leary School before going to the convent in St. Lupicin after Leary School closed. She then dedicated her life to the farm with her brothers and sister, and enjoyed the valley area in which she lived. In the past 15 years she has been looking after her family and attending activities at the Notre Dame Foyer. She treasured her little nieces and nephews, and showed them extreme love and generosity. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Prayers will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Thursday, September 16 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Roland Lanoie officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Lupicin Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
