WALTER CYRIL SHELMERDINE Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Walter Cyril Shelmerdine passed away at 93 years of age, at the Holy Family Nursing Home, on Thursday, September 30, 1999. Walter was predeceased by his wife Olga; sisters, Marion Hobday, Mabel Hine; brothers, Daniel Shelmerdine and Albert Ernest Shelmerdine. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Joan; nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. A private family service was held on Monday, October 4 at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Joan wishes to thank the staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home, 3rd Floor, for their kindness and care.
