SHIRLEY LOUISE BOIVIN (nee JACKSON) Shirley Louise Boivin passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 2, 1999 in Vancouver. Born August 20, 1919 in Winnipeg, Shirley was a loving and loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as an avid golfer, gardener, chef and weaver. She was also a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, having served with distinction in London, England in The Second World War. Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Boivin, and her two children Barbara Lecky (Robin) of Vancouver and Jim Boivin (Deborah) of Salt Lake City, Utah. Additionally, she is survived by eight grandchildren, Sarah Lecky, Gayda (Tim), Jason Lecky (Doria Bellows), Adam Lecky, Briony Lecky, Amie Boivin, Andrew Boivin, Alyssa Boivin and Adrienne Boivin; and two new great-grandsons, Joel Lecky and Jackson Gayda. In accordance with Shirleys wishes the family will privately celebrate her life.
