GUDFINNA (FINNA) EVELYN BOLACK (nee BJARNARSON) It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 30, 1999 at the age of 77. Finna is survived by her loving family Lois (Valere De Ruyck), Edith (Norman Desrochers), Karl (Delores), Carol (Ron Schneider), Kim (Dennis Gagnon), Nancy (Jake Penner), Siggi (Dan De Kezel) and Amy; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her sister Bena Arnold. She was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1977, her father Karl Bjarnarson in 1976 and her mother Lillian Bjarnarson in 1997. She was born on June 9, 1922 at Terceira, Man. and moved to Baldur with her parents in 1938. After completing high school she worked at MTS until she married Harold Cyrus Bolack on July 17, 1949. They retired from farming in 1976 and moved to Baldur. Finna always enjoyed numerous needlework and crafts. She took great pleasure in sharing her work with others. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who lived for her family. Cremation and private family service to follow.
