Thelma was born on June 1, 1920 at Kelwood, Manitoba and moved to Dauphin with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.E. Dicks, in May 1928. After finishing high school, Thelma attended United College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1941. That same year, Thelma married Flt. Lt. Richard (Dick) Bolduc of Port Arthur, Ontario and while Dick was overseas during the war years, Thelma lived in Dauphin. On his return, they spent some time in Winnipeg and then Ottawa until the time of her death. Thelma spent every summer at Clear Lake, Manitoba with her family and especially enjoyed being with her golfing friends there. Over the years, Thelma was very involved with volunteer work both at her church and in personal care homes. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Dick in 1997, and is survived by her beloved children, Betty Jane (Bill Marsh), Dr. Richard (Pati) and Robert (Carol) grandchildren, Scott, David, Kimberley, Brian, Tyson and Emily; great-grandchildren, Melanie and Evan and loving sister Betty Stephen (Dr. Lawrie) of Dauphin. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Thelmas life was held at St. Columba Anglican Church, Ottawa on October 26. If friends so desire, donations in Thelmas memory may be made to the Lupus Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. "For He will give His angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways ..."
