Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIESBET MARGARET (BETTY) GOOSSEN Liesbet Margaret (Betty) Goossen passed away at the Grandview District Hospital on Tuesday, December 14, 1999 at the age of 76 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 10:30 a.m. from the Grandview Mennonite Church, with home ministers in charge. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Friends wishing to pay their respects may call at the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. Surviving besides her husband Walter are two sons, Roy and wife Pat, Mark and wife Connie both of Grandview; six daughters, Doris Goossen, Judy and husband Gordon Trembach, Marie and husband Mervin Mitchell, Joan and husband Ian Grexton all of Grandview, Debra and husband Bill Brandt of Morris, Ruth Parobec and Garfield Parobec of Dauphin, as well as 13 grandchildren; 11 brothers, George Penner and wife Martha of Grandview, Mennon Penner and wife Pauline of Swan River, Gladwin Penner and wife Ella of Rosenort, Elmer Penner and wife Esther of Morris, Leonard Penner and wife Evelyn of Sinclair, John Penner and wife Naomi of Grandview, Melvin Penner and wife Elvira of Morris, Kenneth Penner and wife Darlene of Swan River, Wayne Penner and wife Phyllis of Benito, Richard Penner and wife Karen of Swan River, Darrell Penner and wife Caroline of Edmonton; four sisters, Rosina and husband Ed Goossen of Rosenort, Vera and husband Alvin Nightingale of Fairview, OK, Dolores and husband Phillip Miller of Kelowna, B.C. and Janet and husband James Goossen of Swan River; also numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial donations may be made to the C.N.I.B. or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service have care of the arrangements.
