WILLIAM (BILL) KAMINSKY On December 28 Bill Kaminsky passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Sunny; daughter Brenda (Marvin) Kass; son Sheldon (Robbi) sisters Rose Dvorchik, Gertie Lev, Bella Shklov; grandchildren Nikki Kaminsky, Joshua, Hartley and Jordan Kass, Kelley and Carey Lalor. Also left to mourn are many relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Sally Gutnik and his parents Sam and Sophie Kaminsky. Bill was born July 31, 1926 in Winnipeg where he was raised and educated. He was employed with London Life Insurance Company for 37 years and was held in high regard by his fellow employees and contemporaries in the industry. As a husband, father, brother and son his family was the center of his life. He was a man who exemplified compassion, tolerance and understanding. He gave tirelessly of his energy and time, seeking opportunities to provide comfort, guidance, advice and support. His greatest pleasure was watching his grandchildren grow and being involved in their lives. The family wishes to thank Dr. J. Rabson, Dr. L. Snyder and Dr. S. Koven as well as the compassionate staff of Seven Oaks Hospital. Special thanks to nurses Edith King and Diane Hallock. The family also extends appreciation to Rabbi Weizman and Cantor Gerry Daien for their support during our time of sorrow. The funeral service was held at Rosh Pina Synagogue at 1:00 on December 30, 1999. Interment followed at Rosh Pina Cemetery. The pallbearers were Joshua Kass, Hartley Kass, Jordan Kass, Martin Gutnik, Gerry Corr and Kenny Segal. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice. MAY YOUR SOUL BE BOUND UP IN THE BOND OF EVERLASTING PEACE
