STELLA BODNAR (STEFANJA FEDYSZYN) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing our beloved Mother and Grandmother Stella Bodnar at the age of 93 on February 18, 2000 at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Mom was born in Paweloze, Poland on June 8, 1906 and immigrated to Canada in 1924. In 1925 Mom and Dad were married. Her beloved husband John predeceased her in 1962 after 37 years of marriage. She will be lovingly remembered by her son; Metro (Rose), Benjamen (Mary) and Edward (Stella) ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased also by her sister Josie Zacharkiw (Sesak) of Winnipeg; her parents, sisters and brother in Poland. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 22 at 9:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with a viewing one half hour prior to service. Rev. Fr. M. Kouts will be officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Ken Bodnar, Ted Bodnar, Ray Bodnar, John Diffey, Chuck Dyck and Metro Bodnar. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Sisters and staff on the St. Johns Ward at Holy Family Nursing Home for their loving care and kindness to Mother and for their support to all the family during Moms lengthy illness.
