ELSIE BOGGS Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Miss Elsie Boggs passed away at the Morris General Hospital on Friday, March 31, 2000. Elsie was born in Morris and spent her entire life there. She worked as a cashier at the Clow and Mitchell families grocery stores for many years. Later she worked at various Safeway locations in Winnipeg, including the River and Osborne store prior to her retirement. Elsie was predeceased by her parents and brother Gottfried. She is survived by two sisters, Augusta Boggs and Alvina Hartwig, both of Winnipeg; three brothers, Edmund and Otto, both of Winnipeg and Christoph of Morris; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to the health care providers from the hospital, as well as all home care workers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Cross in Morris with interment in the Morris Cemetery. Viewing at Morris Funeral Home today (Monday) from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
