LINDA BODNARCHUK Suddenly on April 24, 2000, at her home where she most wanted to be with her daughter at her side, "Grandma" left us to be reunited with her beloved husband John, at the age of 76 years. Mom was predeceased by her husband John in 1997; parents Adolph and Jullianna Russell; sisters, Kay, Lorraine, Alma, Lil and brothers, Fred, Albert, Harry and Oscar. Grandma is survived by her daughter Judy (Terry) Guntel; her much loved grandchildren, Christy and Eric; her sisters, Sarah Plante of Brantford, Ont., Vi (Eddie) Wall and Marge Graboski, all of Winnipeg; nephew Bill and Janet Dubas and family, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Mom was always ready to lend a helping hand and quick to set another place at the table. Although John and Linda had only one child, their door was open to many other children through the years. Grandma will always be remembered with deep, abiding love. Viewing will be held Wednesday evening (tonight), April 26, between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment in Transcona Cemetery. The family wishes to thank friends and family for visiting with "Grandma" at home and in the hospital, and know that every visit meant a lot to her.
