Due to her tragic accident at the age of seven, she remained handicapped. Those that knew her, know she carried a heavy cross. She taught us that everything is a blessing, that your heart should always by open, that you never get tired and let compassion be your guide. Mom loved her crafts and painting and they hang proudly all through Fred Douglas Lodge. She was a great cook and a loving mother. We will miss you, Mom. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for the wonderful care and kindness shown over the years. Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Ave., with Rev.
