CLARA BORKOWSKI "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord", is where our dearly loved Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma went on Thursday, May 25, 2000 at the age of 81 at Tuxedo Villa. Mom was born in Therrien, Alta. and met her husband at Prairie Bible Institute in Wetaskawin, Alta. She was predeceased by her husband Frank after 50 years of marriage in 1988. She is survived by her children, Ruth Faires, Verne (Elsie), Donna (Jack), Wes (Priscilla), Brenda (Oliver), Pam (Lou) and Craig (Delilah). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Viewing for family and friends, Monday, May 29 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. The world however beautiful, Was never meant to be The place that we would call, Our home for eternity And tho we would not Choose to leave, A loving God knows best, and in His time He lifts us, To a place of peace and rest. For He has built a mansion where His children will abide. Someday well be together in Our Fathers home above Where we will thank Him For His mercy and praise Him for His love.
