WILLIAM (BILL) STRICKLAND It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill on Saturday, July 1, 2000, at the age of 46. Bill was loved for his gentleness, beautiful spirit and trusting nature. He faced many life and health challenges with courage, inner strength, and humour. Bill will be sadly missed by his brothers, Richard (Sharon) of Leduc, AB and Robert (Diane) of Winnipeg; nieces, Shannon, Shelly, Tracy, Lindsay, Suzanne and Lisa and nephews, Jimmy, Geoffrey, Matthew, Dan, and Kelly; Grandma Bernardin and family and close friend Jack. Bill worked at Versatech Industries and developed many friendships during his 29 years there, especially Ann Carney, his supervisor Karen, and Vicki Keith. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at St. Georges Church in Assiniboia, SK. Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses and staff of the I.C. unit of Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and comfort provided to Bill.
