Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAURICE ALFRED BOUDREAU On Wednesday, October 18, 2000, following a lengthy battle with cancer, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, with his wife, family and friends at his side. Maurices strength and courage in the face of death were admirable, his will to live never diminished. He also maintained his unique sense of humour and was still making us laugh up until the day before his death. Maurice was born in Church Point, Nova Scotia on April 4, 1945, but lived in Winnipeg for most of his adult life and considered Winnipeg his home. Maurice will be so very sadly missed by his wife Judy (Boileau), family and friends. Sincere thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care. Special thanks to Dr. Grace Lipinski, Dr. Jan Mulder, VON Diane Patry and his dearest friends, Roy Rosmus, Wayne Rogers and Stan Kubicek for their compassion, caring and support during this difficult time. As per Maurices wishes, cremation has already taken place and there will be no memorial or funeral service. Instead, family and friends will gather for a private celebration of his life. INVICTUS Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find me, unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. William Ernest Henley WE LOVE YOU MO.
