BELLA BAZIN (nee LABOSSIERE) Peacefully at her residence with her family by her side, on Wednesday December 6, 2000, Mrs. Bella Bazin of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 58 years. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Marc of St. Claude; four children, Lorraine (Jim), Annette (Denis), Edith (Perry), Aime (Anita) and eight grandchildren, Sarah, Sabrina, Stephanie, Brianne, Janique, Tiana, Eric and Jenna. She also leaves to mourn four sisters, Yvette (Leo) Morin, Therese (Leo) Nadeau, Norma (Maurice) Trudel, Gisele (Marcel) Durupt; one brother Donat (Pauline) Labossiere, two sisters-in-law, Evelyne (Guy) Delaquis, Christiane (Roger) Sala; two brothers-in-law, Roland (Cecile) Bazin, Albert (Rolande) Bazin and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Cyprien in 1955; her mother Cecilia in 1995 and by one infant brother Gerald in 1949. Bellas name signifies beauty and she was a beautiful person. A loving wife of 40 years, Bella and Marc shared many wonderful years together, initially raising their family, and then spending precious time camping along with their many harness racing friends. Bella enjoyed playing cards, dancing, curling and bingo. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grand children. Bella was a wonderful mother. She gave us life, hope and happiness. She showered us with love and taught us the value of patience, strength and humour. When Bella became ill, her husband Marc supported her and never left her side throughout her difficult journey with ALS. He was a pillar of strength and without him, she could not have fulfilled her wish of enjoying her remaining days at home. We believe in angels because we have seen their faces. Monique, Liz and Lorraine we are forever grateful for your loving care. And from the bottom of our hearts we thank the long list of people, both locally and in Alberta, who participated in Bellas care, in one way or another. We will never forget. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Saturday December 9 at 3:00 p.m. with Father Rodrigue Bouchard officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends or family may send memorial donations to A.L.S. Society of Canada, 265 Yorkland Boulevard, Suite 300, Toronto, Ontario M2J 1S5. Adams Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Phone 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326.
