Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA BOHOTCHUK (nee SYSA) Suddenly, with family close by, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Olga Bohotchuk, at the age of 86 on Saturday, December 30, 2000. Olga leaves to mourn her husband Joe of 63 years; son William and wife Veronica; grandchildren, Bren-Lee(Carl) Malazdrewich and their son Cole (great-grandson), Michael, Jason and Daniel. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends. She was predeceased by her father Nicholas Sysa; mother Nellie Mostowy (George) brother Walter and sister-in-law Kay; sister Ruth and brother-in-law Sonny Tkachuk and recently brother John. Olga was born and raised in Winnipeg, and was employed in a variety of positions including groundskeeper at Elmwood Cemetery, doctors assistant, hairdresser and sales clerk at the Bay. She spent many years as a caregiver to her own mother and was a devoted wife, mother, and Baba. Mom especially enjoyed and looked forward to visits from family and friends and trips to the lake. Family and friends are asked to gather on Thursday, January 4, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., to honour her memory. Olga will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A heartfelt thanks to Olgas nieces for their overwhelming, unhesitating support in this time of need. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation for the care and compassion given Mom and us by the nurses of the Emergency Unit at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olgas memory to the Seven Oaks Hospital Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
