Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEN BLOODWORTH Ken passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre on Monday, January 22, 2001. Ken was born on September 18, 1931 in Winnipeg, and grew up in the Inwood area farming there until 1956 when he moved to Winnipeg. There he met Marilyn and they married in 1960. In 1970 Ken and his family moved to St. Andrews and he retired there in 1988. Ken worked for British American Oil for four years and at Canada Packers for 24 years. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn; his sons, Harry and wife Rose and their children, Shylyte and Shayne; Ferlyn and children, Amanda and Devon; Owen and daughter Amber; daughter Gail and husband Tom McMurchy and their children, Stephanie and Jason; he will also be missed by his mother Ruby; brother Gordon and his wife Shirley; along with many nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his father Robert in 1994 and his sister Alice Duguay in 1994. Many thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre and the Deer Lodge Centre. Special thanks to the nurses on 3E at the Deer Lodge Centre. Flowers are gratefully declined. If you so wish, donations in Kens memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Pallbearers will be Klaus Lewald, Cliff Kolach, Craig Menzies, Ronald Gromniski, Phil Frederick and Bob Bloodworth. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
