ELEANOR RUTH (DELAQUIS) BRADY (nee SCHULTZ) Peacefully, on February 28, 2001, at her residence, our beloved mother passed away at the age of 54. She was predeceased by her first husband Georges Delaquis; her infant son Eugene and parents, Reinhold and Elsie Schultz. She leaves to mourn her son Louis Delaquis and daughter-in-law Corinne Caruso; her daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Roy Deerpalsing; grandchildren, Brianna, Jordan and Jenna; sister Margaret (Rolly) Rougeau and family; many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and close and dear friends. Mom took special pride in spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her childhood friends, Paulette and Lauraine Chatelaine and families; special sister-in-law Cecile Delaquis and family and special friends, Chris, Lynne, Kathy, Diane, Linda and Betty. She filled her days and evenings with many activities - "our social butterfly" - playing shuffleboard, carpet bowling and playing cards. She had discovered a new-found happiness at her new residence, Riverside Lions Estates, forming new friendships with Marge, Pat and Stella who will miss her. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 7 at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Viewing will take place one-half hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, families and friends are requested to make donations to the Riverside Lions Estates, for their new personal care home at 188 Worthington Avenue. In closing, we would like to share our mothers favourite prayer: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
