Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVLADIMIR BORIC Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, March 26, 2001, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Vladimir Boric was called to his "Heavenly Home," at the age of 77 years. Vladimir was born in Sisak, Croatia on January 16, 1924. He moved to Canada in 1974 with his wife and son from his beloved homeland, which he loved his entire life. He was predeceased by his parents and brother in Croatia. Vladimir will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Ana of 54 years; son Tomislav; daughter-in-law Lisa; grandchildren, Kiana and Quentin Boric; niece Renata (whom he adopted and raised as his own daughter) and husband Anton Beljo; great-niece Ana and husband Mirko Cubela with children Gabriela, Martina and Anton; sister-in-law Ljubica and husband Bruno Foschio, nephew Zlatko Boric and family in Croatia (whom he loved dearly), numerous relatives and friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Nicolas Tavelich Roman Catholic Church, 2688 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Nicolas Church with Fr. Ante Juric, O.F.M. officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anton Beljo, Mirko Cubela, Jakob Kruc, Zdravko Lulic, Igor Lulic and Dragutin Hegel. The family would like to thank Dr. Taraska and Seven Oaks Staff on Unit 5, especially nurse Mona. His zest for life, and his strength were remarkable. He remained strong to the end.
