ARTHUR LANCE BOTT October 21, 1919 -March 24, 2001 Arthur Bott passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 80 years. He was born at North Lakeland Municipality, Man., the beloved son of Stuart and Harriet Bott. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Artillery and returned from overseas in 1945 to the family farm. In 1947 he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and continued to suffer from this illness for many years. Cancer claimed his life in the end. He was predeceased by his parents; also brothers, Ralph, Francis, Joseph, Geoffrey and Randolph, and sisters, Ivy, Maud, Dorothy, Mary and Irene. Art leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Edna Evans, Alice Thordarson and Lucy Senton and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and his remains will be interred in Lakeland Cemetery at a later date. Because I could not stop for death He kindly stopped for me.
