Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES LEONARD MITCHELL PRETTE October 13, 1903 - April 20, 2001 Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 45 years, Ida; children, Richard (Joy) Pretty of Texada Island, B.C., Jeanne (Willie) Recksiedler of Balsam Bay, Man., Clinton (Grace) Prette of Estevan, Sask., Gail Prette of Grande Prairie, Alta.; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Leonard was born in Whitemouth, Man., and lived in Victoria since 1953. He was predeceased by his first wife Florence, son Herbert, granddaughter Dawn and grandson Brian. The family would like to thank the doctors, emergency and nursing staff at Victoria General Hospital. At Leonards request, there will be no service.
