Ann was born and raised at her parents farm at Stuartburn. As a young girl, she helped on the family farm and also worked at the Vita District Hospital as a nurses aid for Dr. Walden. Later she met and married John Bodz on October 23, ring 1938. They farmed together, one mile east of Stuartburn, where Mom worked hard at Dads side for 36 years. She was a loving, camother and a very proud Baba, who now leaves an emptiness in our lives. Mom was a kind, friendly, and generous individual who loved to extend her hospitality whenever someone would drop by. One never left without being treated to her delicious cooking and baking. Her favourite hobby was gardening and she grew many beautiful flowers around her home. When winter snows brought her inside, she kept busy with crocheting Afgans, sewing and quilting. Mom enjoyed travelling with her children, taking in sight-seeing, hiking and visiting with relatives. She was also an active member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church at Stuartburn. The family expresses special thanks and gratitude to Dr. Smith and all the staff for the special care they gave Mom at the Vita Personal Care Home and Hospital. Prayers will be held at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at 7:30 p.m., divine liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church at Stuartburn, with Rev.
