ETIENNE BRAIS April 2, 1933 - August 1, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother at the Altona Hospital. Etienne is survived by his wife Helene; daughters, Estelle Brais-Mousseau (Gorden), Vivianne Remillard (Rheal) - children, Julie, Rejean, Marcel, Josee, Suzanne Ayotte (Guy) - Alex, Guillaume, Genevieve, Antoinette, Antoine, Sara; two sons, Julien (Lise Deurbrouck) - Melina, Benjamin, Dominique, Nicolas, Guylaine; Gaetan (Jocelyne Levesque) - Jacques, Chantal, Katherine; sisters, Therese Vuignier, Georgette Houle (Arthur), Jeanette Velcich, Rose-Marie Petit (Raymond), Fleur-Ange Scott (Richard), Francoise Goovaerts (Georges) brothers-in-law, Robert McKay, Fernand Remillard and sisters-in-law, Ruth and Eva Brais and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosario and Melina; brothers, Marcel, Alexis, Georges, Gilles; sisters, Aline McKay and Renee Remillard; sister-in-law, Desneiges Brais (Guay) brothers-in-law Ralphael Vuignier and Antonio Velcich. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, August 5 with funeral service Monday, August 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Viewing and prayers will take place at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small, With a loving heart and a willing hand For all you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, We only pray when you left us, You knew how much we cared. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you, And said "Come unto Me." To live in hearts We leave behind Is not to die.
