EDITH BOITSON Peacefully, at the Concordia Hospital on Wednesday, August 15, 2001, Mrs. Edith Boitson passed away with grace and dignity, at the age of 81 years. Edith leaves to mourn her children, Beverly, Larry and wife Edythe-Marie, and Janet; her grandchildren, Cherri-Anne Boitson, Sean and Erin Usher and their father Glenn Usher; her sisters, Carrie Sawchuk and Frances Halgren; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1970; her sisters, Irene and Elsie. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of 3 West at Concordia Hospital for compassionate and loving care. Prayers will be held in the chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint), on Sunday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster St., on Monday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Arthritis Society, 105-385 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3R6.
