NICHOLAS "NICK" BORESKI Mr. Nicholas "Nick" Boreski, aged 71, of Central Park Lodge, formerly of Westfort, ON, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2001, at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital - McKellar Site. Born in Tyndall, MB, he moved to Fort William in 1963, where he had lived since that time. He worked for the former Hawker Sidley (Bombardier) for 27 years, retiring in 1990 from stores/computers. He also, along with his wife Theresa, owned and operated Heath Park Store for over 19 years. Nicholas was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree, Fort William Council #1447. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of Stanley Trap and Skeet Club. He is survived by his wife Theresa; two children, Gerald and Cathy Lynn (William) Berringer; grandchildren, Christopher and Chelsea; siblings, John Boreski (Martha), Harold Boreski, all of Winnipeg, Ann Mochings of Windsor, and Jim Boreski of Medicine Hat; and sister-in-law Elaine of Saskatoon. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Catherine Boreski; brothers, Alex, Fred, Steven and Bill Boreski; and two sisters-in-law, Elsie and Anna Boreski. Funeral services for the late Mr. Nicholas "Nick" Boreski will be held Saturday, November 3 at 9:30 a.m. in the Westfort Funeral Chapel, 420 West Gore St. at James. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. with prayers being offered at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 2 in the Westfort Chapel.
