STANLEY WALTER BORYS September 3, 1951 - November 2, 2001 Unexpectedly, on November 2, 2001, Stanley Walter Borys left us to join his father, Walter Borys. Predeceased by his father Walter Borys in January 2000, Stanley leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his mother Viola Borys; his two daughters, Jacque Tokar (Jim), Trisha Borys; and son Bradley Borys; grandchildren, Rebecca and Jacob Tokar; sisters, Barbara Anderson and Leslie Borys-Hamilton; nephew Shane Anderson (Tara) niece Michelle Borys Hamilton; great-nephew Hunter; great-niece Alannah; and his cat named "Cat". Stanley was employed at the CNR Symington Yards for over 20 years as a brakes mechanic. In his early teens, he enjoyed doing photography and in recent years, was an avid sports car fanatic. He loved to watch wrestling with his son-in-law Jim and play video games. His favourite car was a 1988 Mustang, which was souped up for summer driving only. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St., with Rev. Linda Zagozewski officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be appreciated. He will be missed and cherished always. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
