PHOEBE VAUGHN BOUGHTON Phoebe Vaughn Boughton passed away peacefully at the Joyce Bergman Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 27, 2001, three days after her 100th Birthday. Phoebe was born in Arden, MB to Maurice and Grace Boughton, the fifth of six children. After High School in Arden, Phoebe went to Winnipeg where she received her degree in Education at the University of Manitoba. She taught in many southern Manitoba schools and later worked for the Department of Education for several years. She had lived in Saskatoon since the mid 1950s. Phoebe is survived by her nieces and nephews, The Boughtons - Glenn (Shirley), Rhonda (Lorne) Collins, Lorraine (Bert) Proctor, Ardeth Sklinchar, John (Jean), Keith (Karen), Neil (Helen). The Rayners - Betty Lang, Willison (Ruth), Lois Larkin. The Slys - Patricia (Ivan) Traill. The Sutherlands - Jim (Joan), and many great nieces and nephews. Phoebe will be sadly missed by her friends and the attendants at the Bergman Home and by Glenn and Shirley, who have been her special friends for many years. At Phoebes request there will be no funeral service held. Interment will be at Arden, MB at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME.
